Crew Reserves Reverse Score, Beat Toronto 4-2

The Columbus Crew reserves side earned a little revenge on Sunday morning at Crew Stadium, as the defeated Toronto’s reserves, 4-2.  The win was the Crew reserves fifth in a row, and they are now 5-1-0 on the season.  The Toronto reserves are almost as bad as their actual team.  They are now 0-5-2 this year.

Jeff Cunningham scored twice and assisted on another during the game.  He almost had a hat-trick, but his penalty kick was saved in 33rd minute.

Crew rookie Eric Gehrig’s twin brother, Greg, made an appearance at forward as a non-roster player.

The Crew reserves return to action on September 18th in Philadelphia against the Union.  Toronto’s reserves host the New York Red Bulls on October 1st.
